Dramatic landscapes and rich cultural heritage

Set sail on a 21-day voyage from Darwin to Broome, exploring the remote Kimberley coast, one of Australia’s last true wilderness areas. This journey combines offshore sailing with dramatic landscapes, vibrant marine life, and rich cultural heritage.

Departing from Darwin, we sail west to Ashmore and Scott Reefs, marine sanctuaries perfect for snorkelling and diving. Further south, experience the cliffs and falls of St George Basin, King Cascade, Cathedral Falls, and the tidal wonder of Montgomery Reef. Feel the rush of the Horizontal Falls, one of nature’s most powerful spectacles.

Continue past Cape Leveque, Sale River, and Red Cone Hill. Visit Bigge Island with its ancient rock art, and Langii, a site of deep cultural significance. Explore the Mitchell River, Vansittart Bay, Glycosmis Falls, and tranquil Pangali Cove. Finish the journey with the soaring cliffs of the King George and Berkeley Rivers before reaching Broome, where red earth meets turquoise sea.

Aboard a well-equipped expedition yacht, enjoy life at sea with shared meals, peaceful anchorages, wildlife encounters, and the rhythm of hands-on sailing. This is a rare opportunity to experience the Kimberley’s raw beauty and remoteness in its purest form.
