You can fly into Vavaʻu International Airport via connecting flight to Nadi International Airport in Fiji to join the yacht at the Vava'u Group Marina.

When we arrive in Southport, you can plan to fly out of Brisbane or Gold Coast Airports.

  • Arrive at the vessel in the Vava'u Group by 4pm

  • Crew training and safety familiarisation

  • Crew welcome dinner

15 Oct 2025

  • Clear Customs

  • Depart Vava'u Group mooring by midday and head for Southport

28 Oct 2025

  • Arrive in Southport by midday

  • Clear Customs and Bio-security

  • Final Crew Dinner and stay onboard (if required).

29 Oct 2025

  • Depart from Gold Coast or Brisbane Airport after 3pm (to allow for bio-security delay).

Your crew package includes; all meals onboard, accommodation onboard, your Ocean Sailing Expeditions crew shirt, marina fees, the use of a PFD (personal floatation device), PLB (personal locator beacon), and a safety tether. Your bedding, a pillow and towel are also included along with suncream.

Exclusions

Your crew package excludes; meals and accommodation ashore, flights and transport to and from departure and arrival ports, alcohol, toiletries, clothing and wet weather gear. Its always recommended that you book flights with date flexibility incase of unforeseen changes due to weather or schedules.
